We stayed 2 nights at the Lelux Hotel whilst visiting Montreal. As many other reviews have mentioned, there was a significant wait to get checked in. This appeared to be caused by inexperienced staff, basically one guy knew what he was doing and all the others had to keep asking him how to do it which caused a massive back log and ultimately a queue of frustrated guests waiting to check in. The hotel was ok, rooms nice and the gym basic. There is a free continental buffet breakfast included but don't expect much. When we were there something kept tripping the electrics in the dining area so that you couldn't use the toasters etc. Don't think I'll be rushing back here... or to Montreal.

I waited in the lobby MORE then I even got to explore Montreal. I seriously don’t know how this place has not been shut down . My room key broke . System was working .. had to wait a whole day to get into my room and staff had to bring me up with a key. Staff were rude telling me from Toronto I should know French … no you cater to guest ( customer service tip for the hotel ;) ) I had lotion and shampoo but they forgot the conditioner . Had a tv no converter . Room gross didn’t clean room Oh yeah course the phone didn’t work or ac so it was hot . . Probably will get a disease from the room and the food from breakfast . No help at all this place ruined Montreal I will be calling this place everyday to get a refund . Looking at reviews the staff and manage dont care either they don’t even reply . Please shut this place down asap

Was fooled by the strategically taken pictures. Nothing Lux about the place. Old, not well maintained hotel with poor service at the front desk (at least the day I was there!) Shower head from the 80's that spray in odd directions, bathtub fills up as you shower and takes a long time to drain well after you have finished showering. Others have to wait a long time to shower so they are not standing in your dirty water! Low ceiling in the room as well. Elevator jolts so beware if you have a fear... No AC, awkward parking that you pay $30 a day for. Careful if you have a larger vehicle. Very difficult to navigate around the many many poles. Anyway, wish I had read an honest review. Would not have wasted the time and money.

This hotel experience was disappointing. Water-stained ceiling tiles, mold near windows, a non-draining shower tub, and malfunctioning outlets significantly impacted the stay's comfort and overall satisfaction. Consideration for improvements is crucial.

We had the unfortunate experience of staying in the Lelux. The only positive thing is that is is close to the train station and only one stop to the Montreal F1 Grand Prix. The room was disgusting, dirty & run down with rusty nails in the bathroom, holes in the ceiling @ wallpaper peeling off. The air conditioning did not work & I had to keep my shoes by the side of the bed as the carpet was filthy. There was a soup kitchen in the car park next door. You were accosted my the many beggars going to the train station or getting a Starbucks. The area is horrible & felt really unsafe. Avoid.
